What we believe

Proof over promises.

Jilted doesn't sell packages or hype — the work is the pitch. That means a direct process, real capabilities instead of inflated claims, and a team that would rather show you a session or a cut than describe one.

Where it started

A garage studio, before it was a company.

Jilted didn't start as a business plan. It started with a room built to sound right.

2010

Shoppe Records

Dominic McComb graduates from the Denver School of the Arts Audio Engineering program and builds his first studio — a 700-square-foot garage he sound-treats and outfits with an isolation booth.

Next

A bigger room

Dominic and Sam Coker build a larger two-car-garage studio at Dominic's family home. It becomes the foundation Jilted Media is built on.

2019

Bam arrives

Michael “Bam” Harris moves to Denver already an accomplished engineer, producer, and performing artist, and becomes the third owner.

Since

Three owners, one culture

Sam, Dominic, and Bam still lead every session, shoot, and mix personally — the company grew around that, not away from it.

From studio to production company

The lens got wider. The standard didn't change.

Jilted started as a recording studio built by musicians for musicians — Recording, Mixing & Mastering, Artist Visuals, and Brand Consultation are still the core of that world. As the team took on video, photography, and live event work for outside clients, that became its own lane: Content Production and Live Production for businesses.

The two lanes stay deliberately separate. An artist booking a session shouldn't have to sort through corporate video packages to find it, and a business booking an event shoot shouldn't land in artist-only services. Same owners, same standard, two focused paths in.

Two lanes, six services

Artist Services. Business Services.

For artists

Recording, Mixing & Mastering, Artist Visuals, and Brand Consultation.

For businesses

Content Production and Live Production.

How Jilted works today

A real system behind the same relationships.

Start with the service that fits the outcome. Jilted reviews the project, confirms fit and availability, and explains whether the next step is a booking, intake, consultation, or technical inquiry.

Behind that is a working system — structured intake, confirmed booking rules, and a customer portal to track requests and files. It exists to keep the process organized, not to replace the people running it. You are still working with Sam, Dominic, or Bam.
